I saw a Woods loader on their site the other day and was surprised at how much it looks like Kubota's loader on my BX2200. I also heard that Kubota's loaders for the BX are made in the USA. Could they be built by Woods?. At least something is made in the USA.

I also heard that nothing on the JD (Yanmar), MF (Iseki), and NH/CaseIH (sabru?) sub-compacts are made in the US. I also heard that the JD compacts built completely by Yanmar are better than the ones assembled by John Deere - True???

Remarkable the sub-compacts with US tractor names are all JAP and the one Jap tractor with a Jap name is part american.

can this be true ?????

I have a John Deere (Yanmar) 750 with 2500 hours on it, and based on input from folks I know that have 'em, I wouldn't trade it straight up for one of them new 4xxx tractors. Durn thing is bullet-proof.

I am under the impression that the loader on my JD 4300 is made right here in Ontario.(St Catherines). Things might be made in far away places but as long as they are designed to be used in our conditions and to our quality standards we can keep on truckin. I don't like it however when the manufactures sell a 50cent item for $20 no matter where it is made. Had to buy a new front axle U-joint for my USA made ATV. It cost 4 times what a whole front axle for my sons Mazda cost. The parts for both were the approx same size and MADE BY THE SAME COMPANY!

John Deere, Case IH and New Holland compacts are assembled in the USA but most of the components are shipped in from Asia.

The new John Deere's are now made in Marietta Georgia. Go to Tractorbynet.com. They're the compact and subcompact tractor site. You can get up-to-date information on there.
