Had a lady send us a M wondering if we would restore it. Need some opinions. The tractor has been setting for at least ten years.Motor is locked up, which does not concern me to much. The thing that concerns me is that all the gears in trans, and rearend that were't in oil are all rusty. We have restored a fair amount of farmalls but never run into this before.Any help would be greatfull. THANKS

How rusty? Surface rust is no problem. Great big clumps of indistiguishable burnt umbra would require the tractor being built around the serial tag with a donar M. I've rescued some nasty stuff. That age and older IH is built pretty tough.
