Or an ETD. But since you're not likely to ever get one, what would you like to have instead? Think big. Think small. Hey, dreaming is free.
I'd like an F20 and an E3.

I would rather find a set of plans to bild my own 1892 Froelich. I wouldn't mind a Daine, any brand of the autoplow tractors (Indiana, Moline, ect), or a Deere GP Standard. But for reality, I would like a lug for my skeleton wheeled John Deere B.

My dream tractor is a Deere 4230 gas. With 4-post Roll Gard but I'm not picky would take one with SOund Gard body. Only 33 4230 gasses were made. Might settle for a 4030 gas, only about 200 of those.

I'm thinking either a 1939 A, or a 730, which ever turns up first for the right price! Don

I would like to have a small crawler someday. Dad used to have a couple of them when I was a kid always thought they were cool. The only draw back I can remember is that everything was big and heavy when it needed repaired.

I'm still dreaming about that W4 that I'm getting from Sloroll. It will be a nice addition to my H and M collection. Lets see.... has anyone seen a W4 or W6 on propane? Another dream tractor for me is a 1206 Farmall.

I would like another John Deere 4320, one without a cab. Or how about a White 185 or 195. Maybe even a CaseIH 9330 for the heavier stuff.

It is a handshake deal. I have always had more faith in a handshake than any slip of paper. Gramps had a VAC With a powertake off chainsaw. Took two men and a Chimp to run it but it would slice up a tree! Every once in a while I'd like a VAC too. I was to young to run his. Always thought the foot accelerator was pretty Keen!

I have a new 2 man pto powered chainsaw in the rafters of my shed. Did some repair work for a guy who used to sell them new,and took the saw as payment. It has a pto pump with oil tank that goes on the tractor, and The saw is Green(Dont remember the brand name). Has a handle on each end of the 4-6 ft bar. Has a hyd motor at one end with a little valve to bleed hyd oil on the chain for lube. Been up in the rafters for 20-30 years. Is that like what you had.

Von Ruden is the brand. I think they are still in business at least I have seen much newer gear boxes with the same name on them.

Before the Hydraulic saw they made a mechnical drive one. Gear box on a pivot on the drawbar sort of spring loaded arrangement. Also had a 4 handle (2 man?) hydraulic post hole digger.

Sure would like to see your new never used saw. Jewels like that are hard to come by. I was never able to make either saw work right. Hydraulic had no resevoir and the mechnical is a mankiller. The only time I had it set up I was alone. Seemed like you needed someone to engage the PTO and another person to run the out handle.

Back to the original topic a ETD would always be nice. Know a guy who owned the high selling UDLX from last spring in Iowa. He was the owner previous and I think he restored it. He said he never realy liked it, to rough riding. The long time tractor that I always wanted was a late Hart Parr 18-36 like my Grandpa had. Finally made that happen a little over a year ago after 20 plus years.

Guess bachelorhood has its priveliges!!

I have never seen a Chainsaw mounted on a tractor, I`ll bet that is an interesting piece of equipment. I have been wanting a Vac with an Eagle hitch for a while, just never seem to find one. But of course, I have also been wanting a W4, or SW 4, but I doubt if that will happen either.

You do, how far away, Wisconsin? Shipping is what the killer is on most W 4 tractors that I have found. Found a nice one in the UP of Michigan for a very nice price, but it was gonna cost me a grand to get it here.

At the possibility of bringing upon myself the wrath of some... My true dream is a steamer. That'll probably never happen. There are W4s about and not all that pricey if you keep your ear to the ground. Trucking is the big expense for those of us in rowcrop country. I can understand it, gas and insurance is expensive for those guys. Every once in awhile though, if they happen to be going by with a little extra room you can get a deal. I told gramps I wanted that saw but when I wasn't looking he sold it. I know now he didn't want me hurt but at the time I was pretty upset. I was to young to have it for sure.
