hi i have a zxb in a ww2 hobart generator did they ever put them in tractors looking for a backup motor thanks jim

hi thanks for the info zxb has a 25/8 bore an a3 in stoke the water pump is gear drive The genset is3000 watts and turns at 1200 rpms I live in the U P of michigan thanks Jim p.S. its a 4 banger

jim is it a 6 cyl-- if so it is prob. a jxd-- any way i have an old book that tells what vehicles had diff herc. engines-- alot of buses had them look and see if it is not a JXD- if not tell me how many cyl.s and what size mach and i can prob find out had them if I can be of any help== I still have a hough payoader w/ a JXB in it and some final drive gears for oc12"s oliver crawlers etc.

I forgot to tell you this morning but your engine will be built to Military Standard Specs and no boubt is a ZX with 5 timing gears. The tractor engine only have 3. Also not all parts will interchange directly. How hard have you looked for an engine?

The ZX was used in the little Avery & Moline model V tractors. Where are you located?

Thats a new one on me I've heard of the IX series but till now never and ZX. The IXs where used in cletrac crawlers
