I have been given the privilidge of trying to put together a classic farm machinery show in Wester Kansas. If anyone has any good sites or tips on hosting a good show I would like to hear some suggestions.

What part of Western KS? There was one in Stockton. It did well for quite a while then fizzled out. I am not sure if it even happens anymore. It was at the fairgrounds but I think they had to move somewhere else. There is also one in Kinsley. I think if there are too many, lookers will be few.

The cost and availabilty of insurance is your biggest obstecle in this day and age. If you can get someone to cover you cheap your home free. Good Luck

Who is getting the liability insurance coverage? If someone doesn't have it; I wouldn't do it. Other than that, have fun.

All organizers of a show have to have show coverage liability insurance. Also be as friendly and helpful to exibitors and visitors as possible and do not charge too much gate fee, more shows biting the dust because of increased cost and people not comming, we charge $2 per person per day and have been growing for 15 years but other that were around longer went up to $3 or $4 and are now about biting the dust
