This morning my drive way looks more like a river/creek then it does a road. Been rianing here for 2-3 days probably more then 3-4 inches. Even my front field looks like a pond in places, boy do I wish it would stop if we get much more rian all my tractors are going to get wet feet.

Old it rained steady on me all night, only thing was at Sedalia the temp was showing 32 F. When I got back to Laurie, it was 37 F. The only drawback about driving at night I can not see the streams. I was looking around the neighborhood when I got home,a neighbor was walking down to a stream below his house said he had 6 1/3 inches. Ash Grove. Drivers were calling in to a show I listen to all night from Neb, Kans, Ok, I didn"t like what they were saying.

We've got 6-8 inches of snow here in Omaha in the last 24 hrs. Gonna get another 6-8 over the next 12.

I wanted some moisture, but why can't we get it 3-4 inches at a time.... Oh well.

Years ago I lived up that way in a small town call Leigh, I remember back then it was common to get up in the morning and not be able to find a car that was parked in the drive way.

We have the same thing up here in Iowa, except it is frozen solid, and now we are getting snow on top of it. Road grader went past before daylight this morning, did an excellent job of polishing that ice. I think we could have ice skating competitions right on the road in front of the house.

Last year we got ice here and the guy that lives just past me has a big dozer about the size of a D7 and he slide down the hill comeing in to our places, he couldn't brake it up to get to the gravel. When he stoped by the house he was almost as white as snow, I think he almost sh%t in his pants because if the slide he did down that hill.

Old...If you get the same thing we got here in southern Ohio just before Christmas...you better get prepared. Some folks didn't get their electric back on for ten days. It was the worst ice storm I'd seen in my 63 years. Kerosene and fresh water were in short supply for the masses...if you don't have a portable generator to run things around the house. I saw trucks from as far away as Chattanooga,Tennessee that came to bail us out of such a mess. Don't forget to check on any elders and less fortunates around you if you if it gets real bad. Fred OH

Same here at the lake of the ozarks, they say we have gotton around 4-7 inches. Its also still raining and they say it will change over to ice then snow later today. Going to make a run to town to get a part to fix my pickup truck just in case I need it but don't really want to go.

Old, a couple of years ago I was up there calling on some customers and had some time to kill, I wanted to see the castle at Ha-Ha Tonka for years but just never had time, this was a beautiful spring day, I walked up to the castle, the water tower then went down to the spring where the old mill used to be, really had a great time, unbeliveable views from up there over looking the lake.
I guess thats why they call this part of the country "Gods Country"

The very first tractor I ever owned was a oliver 88, bought it scrap and fixed it up, put up a lot of hay with that old girl.

I like all colors but when I really want to pull something I have to say oliver is the way to go. Had a Farmall 450 this summer which I tried on that NH850 baler but it just couldn't do the job, got my Oliver Super 88 and it pulls it with power to spare. What is funny is both are rated at 55HP
