I heard that Brian Rukes new book, "Memories of an Amercian Farm Implement Dealership" (or close to that) is out now. Has anyone seen it or know where we can get a copy? Brian is the author of the MM buyer's guide from a year or two back.

I bought a copy of it a few months ago from Krause Publications. If you like AGCO dealers, this is a good book. The other brands don't get much coverage here.

It looks like he found the photo album for 1 dealer and used it over and over.....

I can assure you that FAR more than just one dealership was used in the book. While it is true that MM folks were very generous with their offerings for the book (accounting for not even 30 images of the 220 or so in the book), there are a number of pics in there from other dealers, too. If you want to see how many people contributed photos and stories, and in effect how many dealerships are represented, just read the Acknowledgements section of the book! It's LONG... Plus, I have a number of images relating to IHC, Deere, Ford, Caterpillar, and many other brands that can't be tied with AGCO included in the book. And, remember that AGCO now would include Allis-Chalmers, Oliver (and by default Hart-Parr), Case, Massey-Harris, and Massey-Ferguson--major brands of old that received a good deal of coverage in the book. I can't satisfy everyone apparently, but I certainly made a HUGE effort to try.

I saw it on eBay a few days ago.
