I have mi tractors insured thru Tri-State Insurance. they specialize in classic/antique cars, trucks and tractors. Check out the link below for more info on them. I only use my tractors for shows, parades, etc cause they will not insure any tractor that is used for farm work. My premuims are arount $55 per year on each tractor and that is for $500,000 liability. Your tractor is covered during loading and unloading which most insurance companies won't cover. Oh, the only other bad thing about this policy is it is only written in a few states. Check it out.

I carry fire/theft/vandalism on my regular farm owners policy. It doesn't cover 'collision' type damages. Also, farm owners policy carries a $250,000 liability rider and then I buy up another 2 million umbrella liability.

I have my tractors insured for natural disaster building collapse and theft on our farm policy. I really should have some on them when i take them off the property, never gave it much thought before, guess i had better!
