I guess the new year dawns with some retrospect each time, and this year I"m wondering, Who"s going to look after all this old iron and related articles after this generation is long gone or unable to remember where we put it. I challenge myself and others in their "adult" years to get a plan and work to carry it out. A few ideas:
-involve a son, daughter, neice or nephew in your next project and invite them to actually help
-Be involved in the local farm field days or antique days to promote the past heritage we inherited
-Work with the local FFA or Vo-ag classes at tech schools to let them know they can tap your shoulder to pass on some info and see some equipment from the past at your place or provide them with a piece or two of equipment to work on at their school. Can get some help with your projects to I might add. I,m sure you all have other good ideas, pass them along here for all to enjoy and learn from. Thanks

Hey guys,
I think it's great you are trying to get the younger crowd into the hobby. I love reading this and the Farmall forum, learn something new everyday. Keep teaching us, we really do appreciate it!!
