Happy New Year gentlemen, Miss Gundy and other ladies!

For me, personally, 2004 was a good year. Topping the list is my first grandchild, a grandson to teach and spoil.

Sadly there are many world events to humble us. While a lot has gone on, the tsunami event is newest and foremost in my mind. While the official death toll seems to currently be around 150,000 I read that behind the scenes officials peg it closer to 1 million. Some areas don"t even have enough survivors to bury the dead.

May 2005 be a better year and perhaps the greatest year ever. Year of the rooster, so go out and kiss your favorite chicken. lol.

Congratulations on the grandson. May you teach him well and spoil him rotten.

By the way, where in Kansas do you live? I am south of Lawrence.

I live at the home of the Kansas State Fair, i.e. Hutchinson. I originally came from Ness County, having moved here in '82.

You live in beautiful country. I don't have family interests in Missouri anymore, so I haven't been through your neck of the woods for about 8 years.
