I have a pair of coveralls with two zippers. When I pull the first one up the zipper closes and reopens again. The second one does the same but if I bring it all the way up and put it back down then it will close the zipper. I hope it warms up a bit so we have something else to discuss.

I have that problem too. I think mine would be easier to zip if I lay off the cookies!

old: You didn't say which zipper, however if in the groin area, I think I would shy away from products like WD-40, graphite, etc. in favour of soap or wax. Man that WD-40 could be worse than getting appendages caught in the zipper.

Make certain "Mr. Happy" is pulled back out of the way first. Don't laugh at the following, I see it done wrong all the time by adults. One hand on the zipper handle and the other at the zipper bottom stretching the zipper taut. And keeping the "undone" zipper parts lined up and in close proximity. I have to keep showing the wife and kids all the time how to use a zipper without problems. They are always yanking them unsupported, out of line and jamming fabric in the zipper. They have ruined a small fortune in clothes by ruining zippers. As previously stated, candle wax is an ideal lubricant.

Why are you concerned with "Mr. Happy"? He's out of commission, anyway, isn't he? At least for extemporaneous/extracurricular duties?

The past couple of days have been awful. A neighbour lady was running late and got stuck in our yard after running off the laneway into the snow a couple of days ago. Wasn't too bad at the time; digging, dragging the chain and sitting on the tractor seat while towing & running the snowblower afterwards.Still felt OK while noticing the critter's feeders were now empty after last filling them just before surgery. I didn't think that feed pail was too heavy until picking it up. Felt not one but both sides"give". Then yesterday & today got dragged off to family events. Too much walking again and not enough chances to ice down the previous days over exertion. I thought the gonads were only swollen a little but the wife said dream on, they are almost twice the normal size.Zero sympathy from her as well. And that &^%&*(& "support" they supplied and then send a bill for is just a jock strap. Now just to add insult to injury there is a rash and jock itch as well. The horror stories about these people who over do it too soon are too true. I have mixed feelings about mercy killings, to end suffering right about now would be worth nearly any price. In brief, follow the Dr's orders to the letter no matter what.

A friend of mine told me one time his dad got Mr Happy stuck in his zipper, and his dad took his pants out and burned them.

A bar of soap will also lubricate a zipper, at least through a couple washins.

Merry Christmas to all!!!!!

Somebody told me you could also use a pencil for lubrication on a zipper also I guess it could make sense as it is actually graphite and not lead

Mine was working hard a couple years ago--dropped 15lbs and it worked a lot better. Getting a little difficult again this winter though.
