Hi, I got advice from you guys a while back about my clutch and release bearing problems on my cub. I took bigdogs advice and put a real (metal) bearing from Batescorp and a new pressure plate. I was plowing snow a couple of days ago and after a while I couldn't shift the tractor. I got the tractor inside and looked in the inspection hole a saw that the release bearing was worn down to a very thin piece of metal and one of the fingers on the pressure plate had come loose and was very worn. I split the cub again and sure enough I am going to have to replace the pressure plate and release bearing. The bearing part of the release bearing seems to be ok, I was womdering if it is possible to get just the center metal that is worn out or put a new release bearing and pressure plate in the machine. I also would like to know if there is possibly something I could have done wrong. I have all the repair manuals and was pretty sure that followed all the right procedures. Any help that I could recieve would be appreciated. Thanks, stan

no offense but it sounds like you have been riding the clutch youre foot should not touch the clutch pedal more than a couple seconds at a time
