I know very little about tractors. I need to know where to look for the model numbers or whatever identification it has so I can order a parts for it, like general consumables, plugs wires ignition parts etc. It is a 1954 Ford, 4 cylinder 4 speed gas tractor. Thats all I know, and I cant ask my pop in law (its his)cause its for Christmas. Anybody got any info, or was there a bunch of different ones made then. Thanks

Your New Holland dealer should have a poster of all Ford/New Holland models.

So are you getting him the tractor for Christmas? Or he already has the tractor and you're giving him some tune up parts? If you're giving him the tune up parts for the tractor he already has, really all you need to be sure of is if it's an overhead valve 4 cylinder or if it's a flathead 4 cylinder. If it's a 1954, it should be an ohv 4 cylinder and the same tune up parts should work for all 4 cyl gas Fords from '53 to '65. Any online tractor parts supplier will be able to help you. Or your local tractor parts emporium. Or even the New Holland dealer. As for plug wires, get the copper units...not the composite junk.

Well if you are sure it is a 1954 that makes it either a late NAA or a early 600/800.

Lets make this easy on me so I do not have to type thsi all out.

Look at This web site and if you still have questions then ask away.
