My mechanic friend has a selectOspeed transmission that was used for demonstration purposes. He wants me to sell it for him but we can't figure out which tractor it fits. The casting number is C5NN-7006-K Does the "5" indicate 5000 series tractors? Please help, this friend has a lot of money "on the books" that he can not collect and needs all the help he can get. I believe I will hire him to restore an F20 for me. I sure don't get time anymore.

Looks like it would be for a 3000 0r 4000 anytime in the mid 60's on.
The S-O-S trans is a power shift trans actually quite similar to some other power shifts that were developed later.

How much does he want for it?

"C" represents the 60's and 5 the fifth year in the 60's so C5 means first year used was 1965 and could be used for years till something changed in the design. N means tractor if I remember right. I can't tell you what model it is for. Sorry.

I have a 1975 4000 Ford and a manual with it that refers to the selectospeed transmission. Your picture shows the blue which is Ford and the agricultural model vs the commercial or industrial which are yellow. It fits between the engine and the hydraulic sections of which there are 4; engine, transmission, hydraulic and rearend.
It's an automatic transmission and seems quite complicated to repair.
