About eighteen months ago I purchased a compressor as noted in the subject heading. At the time was to busy to do anything with it so it was parked out of sight.Just noticed last week that the flap on the exhaust pipe was standing open so had reason to suspect water damage ( stuck engine ).Today I had time to pull the rig to my shop and check it out. Engine is fine. However while going over this thing I was shocked to see very large letters cast on a side inspection cover. The letters are the M M logo such as Minn.Moline.No mistake ,letters are raised 3/8" x 2" in height. This is a monoblock machine. The two compressor cylinders are in the center of the block and the engine cyls. are on opposite ends of the block. Some time ago I read a thread here that said these units were built for Schramm by I H. Now I wonder that probably Moline also produced a number of these machines. It has no characteristic look of any MM I have ever seen.Does anyone have info. on this unit.

Chief:

You might go to the Moline section of YT and post that. There are a lot of other Moline sites also that have some old timers on there that may be able to answer your question.....deadeye
