My drill instructor used to say (this was in the mid-'60s) that if he owned Missouri and H*ll, he'd rent out Missouri and live in H*ll; don't know what he meant..... .....????? ? (grin)

HI ya'll, Happy Thanksgiving from a purebred Missourian with papers lol, I was born between Mansfield and Ava, and now live about 25 miles north of Springfield where we had about 4inches of snow yesterday but it is gone today.Since I retired, all I do is restore old tractors, currently doing a 1934 WC Allis, So all you Missourians out there in space, come on home, it's pretty nice back here. Have a nice day.

I was stationed at Ft Leonard Wood in 1969 and met a girl from Rolla and her dad had a nice little farm there. Helped himc ombine some oats one weekend. He had a fairly new 606 on a AC combine and I had a H on a gravity wagon. He and I had so much fun she got PO'd because we were supposed to go water skiing that day with some of her friends.

Well, I still consider myself as a "Missouri folk" even if I have been in Colorado for 35 years. I was raised just northeast of Richmond. My Dad still lives in Richmond. Just taked to him about an hour ago and he said they had about 5 inches of snow last night. Larry
