I just bought a 53 super m. I need some pictures of the seat and the supports for it. The tractor also has no hydraulics and I would like install them. Where do I start?

Thank-you for all of the help!

I can't belive the response from this group, you guys are awsome! I can tell you for sure it is a 53 super m. where could I find a distributor pump?
Thank-you for the picture of the seat. my m has a homemade (poorly homemade) steel box that now holds the battery and supports the seat. I wan't to make it factory again.

Thanks again!

Adam

old: I don't think I would be that firm on the hydraulics issue. There are tractors around without hydraulics both super and non super. Who knows for sure if they were sold new that way or has someone removed the system. There are lots of non supers with hydraulics as well.

Hugh, our 1950 W6 has factory Hyd, so the M could have had it too. I can Email a pic if you can post it here.

Bob: I know what your saying is so, some of them had hydraulics and some didn't. Some Ms and W6s even had live hydraulics while some Supers only had belly pumps and a few, very few Supers had no hydraulics. I guess what we need is some old timer to tell us what was optional or standard equipment.

Hugh, the Hyd on our W6 was optional because our neighbour had one of the last W6's a Super WD6TA and it had no hyd pump. It was a nice tractor with TA and live PTO.

I agree on the hydraulics. Lots of regular Ms had hydraulics. Old may have been thinking of the A and Super A. The Farmall A is without hydraulcs while the Super A had the hydraulics.

Belly hyd (single acting) or the distributor hyd??? At least if an M is like an H..... Not sure which hyd he wants.
