I see a lot of tractors that seem to be relisted quite a bit on the photo ads. Just wondering if there are a lot of success stories out there. I am thinking of listing one of my tractors on this site ,I would just like to know that there are some successes out there. Thank you. JohnG

Jon, just go to the photo ads and follow the instructions, it will walk you through. You will need to have the picture in your hard drive, such as "my pictures". I figgered it out all by myself, and if I can do it, anybody should be able to.

John,

The YT Photo Ads are a great way to let people know you have a tractor, parts, etc. for sale. Yes, people do re-list and sometimes it is because an item is priced just a bit more than the buyers want to pay, but sometimes it is because that 'right' person hasn't yet seen the ad. Some people check the ads daily and others on occasion. Sometimes you have to run an ad a time or two to catch that occasional viewer. Try it out, you'll like it.

I check them daily! And I bought a JD "B" off of there just last year. I think the ads are great! I'm looking for another project now, and will have no problem buying another off of the YT Ads. Put your tractor on there, and maybe I'll buy it. (Especially if its a John Deere MT in pretty rough shape.) ;)

I have sold some stuff on here. If you have a cheap price it will sell fast. Best advertising around for the price you pay.

like caseman said, be honest. State your price in the ad. If there is no intrest you can figure you have it priced too high. Those ads get lots of viewers and I have sold tractors there.

Some of the tractors I see are way overpriced in my opinion. Plus I always get a kick out of an add that says "you won't find one in better shape".

I have sold a couple from the results of the photo ads. Lot depends on the tractor, condition, location and not always but sometimes price. What makes it tough selling now is getting them home. I here people getting scammers, but I have never had one email me. I live in western SD and sold a tractor to a guy in New York. He paid for it and I kept it till he could come after it. If both party's work together you can build a rewarding friendship. The last 2 tractors I sold went to Utah. As long as we keep in contact the tractors can stay till they can be picked up. I don't believe in this reselling them after 6 months and charging a high storage fee. You get to show a interested party what your tractor looks like, if he is interested in it he can call or email you. After a few contacts you can make up your mind if you actually want to sell it to that person or wait and see if some one else is interested in it. Take honesty to sell. Tell them like it is, don't hide things. I see lots of ads that are a bunch of bull to put it mildly. Besides the price is right.
