Just be careful to insure you get the long bolt back in the right hole when you drop the small front. One of them is longer than the others. You will not have a full turning radius if you get it in the wrong plave.

Mine has a factory wide front on it. I'm sure Schwartz made them, as well as others, you can find in the bone yards. The factory one doesn't use the frame rails if I understand the other message right?

Paul,

Doesn't that radius trunnion bolt to the underside of the frame rails? Every one I've ever been around did. Dunno....

Yes it takes a way of holding the front end up etc also it is a lot easyer if you have help. I know a place here in Missouri that has 5 or 6 of them $400-650

Can you provide contact info??? I have a 400 with a wide front that's in pretty bad shape... I figure it'd be cheaper for me to replace the whole front than to try to find all the parts to re-build the one I have! Regards,
DL

Hi Tim,

'Course it is. 4 little bolts and that narrow guy will fall right outta there.

If your 300 had never has never had a wide front before, you will probably have to drill holes in the frame rails to bolt the wide front to. It is really a simple swap. (And smart)

Hope this helps,

Allan
