Ran across a USSR tractor for sale. It was labled NorTac? and appeared to have a two cylinder air cooled diesel. Looks a lot like a Massy Feurgson 35. Built like a tank with really hefty castings. Any info?

Belarus 250 is the good version of the nortrac brand, parts available from dealer[s],seat flips over for backhoe operation, extra hyd outlets, and i believe has a ground speed and live pto.
If starting system hasen't been maintained, plan on a starter rebuild and batteries, just to save you the headache when it gets cold, they can be stubborn, but would start fairly well if the electrics were kept up.
Maybe check out the seriel # at dealer for more info, or assesment of asking price?
regards

The Nor trac in the northern hydraulics catalog is made in China. Different machine than the one made in Russia.

jc., I think he is talking about something else. He said it is built like a tank, the Nortrac, available from Northern Tools, is definatly NOT built like a tank.
