Iam looking for an F163 4 cylinder continental engine. I need it for a Lincoln welder but I understand continental engines were used in many tractors.

Email me at c696@nb.sympatico.ca

Continental Red Seal power units use this engine. Have also seen in used in all sorts of generators, pumps and welders over the years. Should not be real hard to find one.

Check out this website:

They have continental engine parts and other stuff. Silver King tractors used Continental F162 engines starting, I believe, with 1942. They were also used in forklifts and various other tractors. I have found some parts on ebay including new main bearings and two gasket sets for next to nothing. A new manifold recently sold on ebay as well.

It might be the model I need. There should be an identification plate on the left side of the block near the top.

Thanks
