I don"t know what the fuss is about. I grew up near Fargo, which is completely different than western North Dakota(which the story is about). They should have called it "the land of wide open spaces". Nothing new in that article about small towns dissapearing. Farms got bigger, and the job market went to the larger cities. Hoefully, someday I will figure a way to move back there.

The only thing I saw wrong with that article is that NatGeo made it sound like North Dakotans are a particularly suicidal bunch. I'm from one of those small towns (around 600 population) and I don't see how they came to that conclusion.
