Idont want to pop your ballon,but if my memory serves me correctly your mains are poured in the block and then line bored.Iused to have an early Case D. but havent worked on one since 1968 so I may have a wrong answer.If no luck on this page check with the Case discussion board.

Hi Eric, If you could find new old stock would be your only chance.They will be .060 undersize.Then line bore.You can send your bearing shells to several of the guys who advertise in the tractor mag. And they can rebabitt them. Then the correct way is to lay the shells in the block and the shim pack, torque to spec and have it line bored to fit your reground crank.I use Pauls ROD & Brg Service in St Louis, MO. for the brg shells.
