Hello,
I work at a John Deere Dealer across the street from a Steel Salvage place. It caught my eye to see a nice complete late 50'S deuts unloaded. I walked over and looked at it, the only thing it's missing is the rear tires. it's in good condition and the motor isn't siezed. He want $350 for it by tommorow morning ir it's going into the baler.

Please help it out, It's too good to get scrapped!

Thanks,
Schultzy

I saved the old bugger, as much as I dont need a Deutz (not my color). but I guess I can always find a good home for it later on. Thanks Guys.

With a name like Schultzy, I can't believed you don't strike a deal yourself. Even if you live in an apartment, talk to the manager. You could park it on the front lawn for a while, he probably wouldn't mind. I know what you mean though, it's a shame those things happen. I wonder what it's like getting engine and driveline parts for those is like.

That could be fun.

Unfortunately, you've given us no information on where it is, how to contact this dealer, etc.

I'm not sure on the size.. but there are a few guys pulling those old tractors... some of those engines are also used on irrigation pumps... but I don't know squat about them... JDGnut
