I have a 36 C myself, and all of the previous posts are correct as far has you have to oil the rockers and valve manually.

What is the serial number is your tractor? (Looking to see how far down the line yours was built from mine)

Here's what the manual say's.( It is recommended that the valve cover should be removed every two or three weeks and kerosene squirted around the valve stems while the engine is running. Then oil all valve mechanism with fresh light oil.) If mine has been setting for a while. I pull valve cover and oil before starting. And then about every eight hour's operating time.

I believe you have to remove the cover and oil them manually. I think it is required daily. Maybe someone else can correct me if I am wrong.

Take on old blue jean pants leg and soak it in oil then fold it to fit on top of the rockers and under the cover. This will keep them oiled for at least a week.
