What are the advantages/disadvantages of four rib over three rib front tires on a narrow front WD 45?

Weigh a 3 rib and then weigh a 4 rib. I have noticed in the one comparison the 3 rib is heavier and should last longer. Also the 3 rib has the center rib bears the most of the weight and in turn will steer easier, Although I bought 4 rib because of the price difference, I would prefer the 3 rib

4 rib tires give more directional control on harder surfaces... and a little less in gooey mud.

I use four rib on tractors with loaders, they will carry weight better. Three rib steer better, but don"t last as long under load.
