Want to try plowing

I have small garden that I want to try plowing instead of tilling this fall. Main purpose is to make the garden bigger and just to have a try at plowing. As I said the garden is small, about 75"l x 50"w and there is not much room to make it bigger as this is really the only realitivly flat part of ground that I own. I do have a farmall h with a 3pt that I use to mow with that still has the drawbar.
Am I wasting my time and money here? Will I do more harm than good? What type of plow should I look to purchase? Or should I look into getting a smaller tractor and plow?

all the tractor suppy outfits offer light one bottom 3 point plows that would be adequate for a garden. You might want to narrow the rear wheels to get it to work right. I would suggest backing up after each furrow and plowing it all the same direction as opposed to going round and round. you could likely pick up some jobs for neighbors too.
