Perhaps five years ago or so, at a local "consignment auction", I say a 3010 Diesel sell. It also was stuck. The clutch was frozen, the brakes were stuck, the seat was shot, the muffler had silver dollar sized holes in it. It had a SCHWARTZ wfe on it that had been welded three or four times, the dual remotes were corroded to uselessness and the hydraulic levers wouldn't move. The steering wheel spun freely. There was a very rusty red fluid in the radiator. It looked as if the starter and generator were both junk. The side panels were both missing, as was the pto shield. It had no top link. It DID have a really nice pair of BRAND NEW 15.5x38 Goodyears on the rear. My examination of the tractor couldn't find a single system on that tractor that looked as if it MIGHT be serviceable. IMO, that tractor, plus $10-12,000 MIGHT yield a working tractor, worth perhaps $5-6000! It brought $2500! A stuck 3010D probably NEEDS a $4-5000 overhaul, after which it might be worth as much as $6000! Personally, I'd think that unless you are desperate to work on a 3010, a WORKING tractor (any working tractor) will be cheaper! I know! I am currantly trying to rebuild a Mssey Furgeson! Good thing I'm doing it for the "experience" and the "fun of it" huh?
