We have friends that have facilities at the Florida Flywheelers grounds. I know that they were hit by Hurricane Bonnie but I haven't heard any final word on how things are looking or how much damage. Does anybody know anything.

This is what I received from a guy who spent the storm hunkered down in the grounds' firehouse:

"The hurricane passed right over the showgrounds. The big engine barn was destroyed along with the large green metal building built by an Oliver collector. The food pole barn heavily damaged. The barn to the north of the food barn (the guy always has a bunch of AC tractors around it) lost part of its roof. Most of the buildings in the village got damaged to some extent or another. A lot of trees blew down damaging travel trailers and RVs parked around them." (Nothing was said about the Snow Engine Building.)
