TURNING PUMP UP ON FORD 6600

IS THERE A WAY TO TURN MY PUMP UP ON THE 6600 DUAL POWER? THINKING ABOUT PULLING THIS TRACTOR AND SOMEONE TOLD ME THIS WOULD HELP. PROBABLY NOT AS EASY AS THEY MADE IT SOUND. THANKS

Turning up an inline injector pump is easy. Cut the wire and turn the screw. The real question is, will you gain anything. 6600 is not turbocharged so you are limited by the air available. As it is at the top of its hp class without a turbo (7600 has one) just dont see a lot of possible increase. Then you have to deal with the extra heat. Pumps should be the same on the 6600 and 7600, the 7600 pump is just set to higher output. I would expect more smoke and heat, but very little additional power.
