Hi Carl,

Technically, no, the MF red seems to be a bit more deeper. Unfortunately, MH red doesn't "come in a can" and even though they're not the proper colors, I've had very satisfying results with painting Massey Harris tractors MF red with JD Yellow wheels. The Unofficial Massey Harris Homepage has color codes if you're wanting to be correct.

Sorry to differ. The MF red is not so bad a departure but the JD yellow is way, way off. The Massey Harris yellow is much more gold. Know as 'straw yellow' which is somewhat descriptive. If you have any area of half decent original paint, polish it up and go to Dupont or other supplier; many have a computer colour reader and can computer match the colour for you. I did this with a 1951 Mercury truck. I took in a panel from the inside of the door and they matched it right bang on.
