Needs a bit of added mass help. Four stout boddies added stil wasn't enough, it spun out in the end. Hope this works.

HA! Reminds me of when I used to work for Central Hardware. They would ship us lumber in semi trailers instead of flatbeds so it took 3-4 guys on the back of the forklift to lift the 16' treated lumber. Ah the good old days of minimum wage.

Loren, That little Green tractor looks an A 12 Holder , made in Germany, single, air cooled, two cycle Diesel.

Single cylinder Sachs engine. in reply to Loren, 07-31-2004 22:59:25
Announcer said 13 hp if I remember right. Name starts with an H. Holden maybe? By the time he shut her down there was a pretty good amount of smoke billowing out from it temporary workload. This sled is about 14X16 feet +/- of 1/8th inch steel. There were also a few people standing on it. Incredible feat for the size of the tractor I'd say!

Now thats the kind of pulling I like to see. Down home style walk on sleds like we used to have for our FFA sponsored pulls at the county youth fair.
Looks like that little tractor needed my 270# of beef.

Turn of the century Holt. Must run all of about 600 rpm all the way down the track. Cylinders look to be at least 16-20

Cylinders looked to be 16-20" tall, under a rack of exposed rocker arms, clickity clackity'ing down the show track. These were just demo pulls front of the main bleachers. This Holt also had a Case LA, very small Farmall that looked way heavier than a B, and a Ford bigger than a 8N, all seated on that sled. Didn't even sweat it. Wait, the Farmall got off due to slipping clutch.

Not much really. in reply to T_Bone, 08-01-2004 09:22:25
There was a rattle(?) to it when traveling that was louder than the exhaust. He only went about 25' but it took about 3 or 4 minutes. Duals on every corner, articulated in the middle. German built I hear.
