I bought a new Zetor after looking at tractors for 2 years. No oil burning about 1GPH on diesel. I have serious slopes so almost always in 4WD. Cab is toasty in winter cold in summer. No parts except filters no warranty work done. Loader is strong 3pt lift is super strong. In my area there is about 100 Zetors & everyone seems to buy & work em no complaints - same with me.

I own a 5245 and before I bought it I did a lot of research on it (much on this board). I have put about 500 hours on it in the last 3 years doing all kinds of work. It seems that most people who have never had one criticize them but I have been pretty pleased. They are build heavy and the price is usually pretty favorable. I would rather have a Deere but that's just for the sake of nostalgia. Haven't had much need for parts, but what few I needed were easy to come by. Having said that, I would want a dealer fairly close by.

Was in a local dealer yard several years ago and saw one in the back lot that had literally broke in half in the area of the clutch housing. Never seen a JD or Farmall like that.
