I have a case 800 gas sitting in drive running just fine and it just quit! Like I turned off key. Now no power, no dash gauges, no starter,no lights nothing. As if I took out the battery. Can't find any grounded or broken wires nothing

First check the battery and then work from there. No point looking anywhere else until you know the battery is good.

That's for sure -- my mom's car had a crack in the side-terminal that took several months to find. The car would go completely dead for no apparent reason and the vibration caused by popping the hood would usually remake the connection.

There should be a wire coming from the battery post opposite of the ground one (it will be connected at the battery or at the battery side of the starter selenoid). This wire provided power to the ignition and every thing else. There must be a break in that wire someplace.

(You could have a bad ignition switch, but I doubt it.)

Suspect the connections at the ends of the battery cable, either at the battery or the other end. Incidentially, deliberately disconnecting the battery on a machine while it is running is not a good practice.

This is just a shot in the dark. I have the power wire come off the ignition switch on my combine every now and then. The wire has a slide connection and just barely comes off. Found it the first time by accident. LOL
