HELP is the word, I think I have been stiched up with a Dynahoe I just bought.....1974 190-4 Dynahoe.
Problems.
No brakes.
Not enough forward drive to hardly pull it's self along even in low ration. Max revs needed to get it to move at all.
All advice needed happy to call anyone who can help me as well???
Charlie

I found brake parts at Moody's:
1-800-869-4517

Someone had hacked out one master cylinder on my machine and put a T connection in to make one master cylinder push both brakes. Of course, there's not enough capacity to really stop the machine and the one leaks like a sieve.

Don't know much on the tranny - except to make sure it is full of fluid.

If all else fails and you'd like to sell some parts - someone on the forum is looking for your sticks, and I'd love your pressure relief valve!!

I have what I believe to be a 1971 Model 160. I have problems keeping brake fluid in the master cylinder. I purchesed a new master cylinder but the cylinder goes dry. I also did a dumb move and broke the dip stick Hyd. Cylinder. The casing is broke and I'm looking for a replacement. Any help with the Hyd. cyclinder would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I just bought a 160b
Please don't laugh. I do NOT see a brake pedal
UNLESS, the only other pedal besides the gas pedal is the brake. I THOUGHT it was the clutch.
Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.
thanks
Gary Guinn

Im thinking two brake pedals, two master cylinders
because only rear two wheels brake to stop 6 or 7
tons. each with a pedal and masters. Seperate Systems..for all that Iron. Have you tryed going
down hill with the Front Drott bucket full of rock
mud...Ive had to dig in to brake do to brakes failed.
