I was wondering if anyone here was planning to go to the South East Old Threshers Reunion in Denton, NC. They claim it is one of the biggest shows in the southeast. I have been before, but never took a tractor. It is a very good show. They said you can register your tractor (which is free) abd you and another person get in free.
Hate to sound like an advertisement, but just wondering who's going.

I aint going back, last year I ended up in the hospital from heat exaustion! In case anyone saw it,I was the one who passed out going up the hill to the parking area! I enjoyed the show just fine, seen a few things I hadnt seen before, enjoyed the engine barn.Nearly got in a fight about the M demo that was there, but other than that and passing out,I had fun!

I live about 60 miles from there and usually leave home early morning and stay there all one day. At least 400 tractors, they will plow with horses, steam, 30-60 Aultman-Taylor( 8 plow bottoms) combining, threshing with steam, sawmilling with steam. Steam shovel operating. Tractor pull late afternoon. Really can't see it all in one day.

We are going again this year. We took one tractor last year and you get 2 people in free. We had a good time but it was hot. I think it is a nice show with a lot going on to see. Have a good time.

I can't make that one, but speaking of nice shows.....the "Pioneer Steam and Gas Engine Society" summer show is going on July 16,17,18. It's a big show and a good time. I never miss this one!
