Well I just turned 16 and love tractors and trucks. I have over 100 1/16th scale toys and tons of 1/64 scale. I currently have 9 tractors of my own and dad has a couple.(it worked opposite, i started collecting and he followed) I have 3 pickups also. I dont miss an auction or tractor pull, especially the nationals in bowling green. cant wait till august. been driving since i can remember, and was always "rebuilding" my toys. keep up the good work and get some more youngens interested. best way to stay out of trouble for me.
Matt

My 4 year old son doesn't miss a tractor pull! He loves the old tractors more than any of the thousands of toys that he has. Most of the toys are tractors and almost all of his shirts are tractors. My wife is afraid that our 3 month old daughter will catch this "disease".

The worst part is that I'll have to wait about 10 years for him to be able to pull on his own. Maybe I'll get started on a lawn tractor for him soon.

Growing up on a farm, I have always appreciated the old iron, but I worried about be able to pass that legacy on. No worries, mission accomplished without any effort. Let's just hope that the teenage years don't spoil it!

My granddaughter loves my '45 JD "A", although the first time I drove it towards her, she was a bit scared. Once she realized it wasn't going to hurt her (she'll be 2 next week), she thought it was great.
Now, EVERY tractor is "Opa's tractor". Aren't them little kids great fun to be around?

My son is 2 years old and he loves tractors to death. I have a farmall H and a cub Cadet in the garage and every time that we walk by them he climbs right on the cub cadet. He thinks that it is his or somthing. When I let him set on the H he has a smile on from ear to ear. And of course when it is time to come into the house he pitches a fit like any 2 year old. All though I like to see that he really likes the iron.

i can speak from experience... I'm a second generation collector. When I was three, my father worked for a CASE dealership, and in that shop is where he restored the 36 Model "C" that I now own. I remember him turning me loose with a paintbrush full of LC grey, and said, "Here, go at it boy". From that point on, I've had no other love that collecting and restoring old tractors.

I'm only 19, and I have 14 years behind the wheel already on our massey 285. I have upwards of 100 tractors scattered in my room, several from Franklin Mint. I love all shades, but I'm partial to MF & Oliver. Donovan from Wisconsin

My one and a half year old daughter loves tractors, she could say tractor almost before mom & dad! She's always a happy kid, but I never see her so happy as when she's around tractors! (My wife just shakes her head at this) hehe ---Jeff

Hello
I'm 18 and have loved old tractors since i was 4 or 5. My dad has been collecting 2 cylinder JD's since the early 80's. He said I was out helping him restore them since I cold walk. My dad owns thirty eight 2-cylinders (all running, 13 are restored) I own 3 old tractors myself, a 1948 JD model D, 1951 JD Model R and a 1945 McCormick W-9.

I graduated from high school last year and am currently apprenticing as a farm Machinery Mechanic.
Old tractors are still my favorite. Russ
