My daughter just bought a house that was abandoned for 2 years. We have cleaned, repainted the insides, replaced the carpet, bush hogged then mowed the yard, and any general repair work that needed to be done. It now looks great and she has a great deal in it. The problem is now, every few days there is an ant problem. She has sprayed Ant killer every time she sees them, but they just come back everytime. The house is on a crawl space and is dry underneath. Can anyone tell me a way to get hid of the ants? Thanks, Nat

I would have to recommend that you use Talstar. It will give you a longer control. It is available in a liquid for spraying and a granular form. Treat the entire yard not just the mounds. It is also approved for indoor use with certain precautions such as washing food utensils before use after spraying.

One problem is it may not be available in your state if you live in MA NY NJ CT VT CA.

dont know if this will work with ants but we sure knocked the heck out of the box edlers an lady bugs with TEMPO. sprayed all around the house, on the outside. you have to get it at the local farm chemical store. it has been harder to get lately but hopefully it will help

Gotta agree with Rick, that stuff will do the job. I have used it around my place on fire ant nests and they never come back.

the only thing I can think of is to use Diazion spray in a pressure sprayer and get the whole area and spray under the house too. The Diazion should be carried by the ants to the nest and kill all of them.
