We had a Kodak moment around here when my 4 year old daughter wanted her mom to grap the camera and come running cause the tractor was peeing. lol, Turns out no peeing but a good steady stream of calcium pouring from both valve stems as I put the tractor on a 1400lb diet. As a side note the tractor drives so much better, I wish I had done it sooner. If the storms hold off I'm goin on a after dark tractor cruise.

The area you drained it on will look wet for years. Calcium chloride will draw moisture from the ground.

I drained it on my stone driveway, we're puting down a new surface this week so I figured it was perfect timing. I also caught alot of it in pails and I poured it on the poison ivy, figured it couldnt hurt.

not much hurts poison ivy. I poured used motor oil on it. Wish I hadn't! It really took off growing then.

we did a little test last weekend with my [2] to-20 fergusons both tractors are the same new tires same speed in the trans. at full gas no load. so we put a ferguson 2 bottom plow on each both plows the same and went plowing a cross a 40 acer feild in only 5 rounds the one with calcium would make one more round then the one with out. changed drivers same thing changed plows same thing then changed tires from one to the other and the results was a pickup of one round in 5 with the tractor that was lossing before. tire slippage is a big factor with out the weight in the tires. hope you don't miss it when you want to do some real pulling

Thanks for that info, I had no idea without a farming background.

I don't do much real heavy pulling with her, mostly light work, no real farming. I have a dozer for the heavy stuff. The main reason I took the fluid out is that I drive it on my lawn quite a bit. I did notice that when I stand on the brakes I can get'er to skid a little, she'd never do that with the fluid.
