Wes, in either late '61 or early '62 Dad & uncle Bob each ordered 830 LP's, I have the build cards for both, Dad said his came up to Iowa from Oklahoma City, uncle Bob's went to the Omaha branch then on to somewhere in Texas, all of the LP's were built for the year so these had to come up from the south rather then straight from the factory, the dealer had to trade other tractors to get these. Both tractors are still in the family, Bob's has been restored, Dad's is still in work clothes. As far as price or value, I've seen most priced around 2-2500, I lost Dad 2 years ago, so there is no price that can be put on it. Let me know if you need more info..... Roger

830LPs were about all that were sold in Texas because at that time Butane was 7-9 cents A gallon but cotton was 12 to 15 cents A#,too, only A very few diesels, and hardly any gasoline were sold, starting in 1951 nearly all tractors were factory equipped or changed over.so nothing rare about butane tractors of any make here!!
