Possible water problem

I'm new at tractor repairs, and have a friend who has a problem with his 1951 to30. We figured out the timing due to help from
Chuck,s answer to resetting distributors, but
my friend says the trans gets very hot. When I checked the oil level, I found white
oil. This to me would indicate water. My question is..Is there any gaskets, or seals
that could be leaking,or maybe this could come
from condensation,in which case, the oil needs
to be changed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Howard

Some of the water is due to condensation, but usually the majority of water enters through deteriorated/cracked shift boots and around the lift cover gasket.
