There is a lever above the PTO shaft that says "do not operate until lowered and off"

What does this lever do?

And hopefully our last question...

There is another lever straight down in front of the seat on the left, that only has two positions. What does this one do?

Thanks to anyyone who can help us with either of these questions.

The 60-06 has two trans. levers in front of the operator the one on the left is the range selector (a,b,c,reverse) on the right is the gears (1,2,3,4) The lever on the left side of the seat is the pto speed on my tractor forward is 540 rpm, and back is 1000. Be sure the pto is disengaged and stopped before changing the pto speed, also be sure you are using the correct speed for your implement. Good Luck and have fun.

I think the one above the pto is for locking the 3 point hydraulics. It puts the 3 point out of commisssion when it's not needed. The lever below and to the left of the seat, i think is the hi-lo lever for the trans.. I'm not positive on this, but it's all i can think of at the monent. How about a picture??? CJ

CJ Is correct. The lever in front to the left is high-low. And the other under the seat above the PTO locks the 3PH when not needed.
