53 golden jubilee rearend fluid amount

just pulled rt. axle housing to repair loose lift pin. now i sant find out how much fluid to put back in it. they say there's a peep hole bolt on the rt. side. HELP EARL

From page 6 of the NAA operator's manual:
Capacity of differential = 8.5 quarts.

From page 90 (service schedule):
"Remove differential lubricant level inspection plug. Add gear oil if necessary."

Strangely enough I can't find anything in the manual that shows or describes the exact location of the "level inspection plug". Old's description of it sounds as reasonable as any.

THIS IS EARL TO SAY THANKS TO JIM.UT. I ONLY HAVE ONE BOOK ON THIS TRACTOR SO FAR, AND IT DONT SAY ANY THING ABOUT FLUID LEVELS. THANKS AGAIN EARL

That bolt is the bottom bolt on the PTO shifter plate

The oil that runs out of the bolt hole at the PTO shifter will be hyd oil. (three seperate compartments) Is ther not a 3/8 pipe plug on the rear of the left rear axle housing?
