I have a 185 cub lo boy. It has a bunch of blow by out of the breather. It misses at full throttle and runs good at mid throttle. It has a knock that comes and goes. This is my first lo boy. Any information would be appreciated.

Chad,
Presuming it's a gas engine. Has it been tuned up properly? Could be timing, carburation, incorrect plug grade or something more serious causing the problem. Sounds like it may be in need of a top end overhaul - decarbonisation at minimum, may need new rings or even more. Could the knock be detonation (red hot carbon in the engine)?
Start on the easy checks - does it burn oil, timing, colour of plug insulator, view thru plug hole etc.If you have just bought it I would suspect that it's previous history has not been fully disclosed and may not be too good reading....
Regards, RAB

Sounds like it's time for an engine rebuild. Check your compression and valve clearances.
