What I have is a Marvel carb and I was wondering if anybody could give me a Idea on where to get parts for it. The only number I have found on it is 10 and its stamped under the throttle shaft. The throttle shaft is broken and its just need the basic rebuild otherwise. By chance could I go by the gasket, matching it up somehow. Thanks

I think it came off a Lincoln wielder. The reason why is that we have 2 at work and the choke set up it the same and I picked the carb out of a bucket of junk in a dumpster at work. It need's a float and a throttle shaft so I'll need a complete kit. I was thinking about trying it on my hopped up Farmall B. I have the big Super C Manifold for it and the bolt pattern is the same.

Marvel basic kits included the throttle shaft. The deluxe kit throws in the jets and more packing material. No kit includes a float - that is a seperate item.

Good luck,
Dan

The float will probably be the hardest part to find with my luck. The one welder still has the brass tag on it so I will get the number from it and see what happen's. Thanks

I've ordered two kits for marvels from Carbsonly.com. They get parts and rebuild kits from Zenith and other suppliers and seem to have more pieces in their kits than most other stores. Hope this helps...But what is the carb off of?

Mark-is your carb off the tractor? As stated there should be a brass tag with the # you need. They always seem to mounted in such a manner that the tag is on the inside and out of site unless you can put a mirror behind and read the #. If the tag is missing post what model the tractor is on and someone can steer you in the right direction. Most parts houses can get a basic overhaul kit for you if they know the #.

On Ford N series tractors, on the opposite side of the choke connection should be a little teardrop shaped brass plate. On this plate should be the model number of the carb. You don't say the model of your tractor, and I don't know how many different tractors Marvel made carbs for... Many aftermarket parts houses carry rebuild kits for Marvel carbs.

Good luck,
Dan

I presume you mean a Marvel-Schebler carburetor.Usually there ias a brass disc riveted to the side of the carb with the model number stamped on it.

Do you know what machine the carb came from? For example, the Ferguson TO-30 uses the TSX 458 carb. I believe the Ford N Series used TSX 331's I believe, etc. If you know what tractor it came off of you can look in the Tractor Parts Section to the left and get an idea. Sorry I can't be of any more help than this.
