Hello, does anyone happen to know if Timberjack skidders still use Detroit engines or are they using something else now. I know JD bought them out a few years ago. I tried looking at the spec sheets on the TJ site, but for some reason, they wouldn't come up.
thanks!

TJ stopped using Detroit's in the late 80's, when the B series Cummins became popular, nowdays you probably find JD power in them. I don't think Detroit builds small 2-strokes anymore.

Different color and stickers, everything else is the same as JD Skidder.

I haven't really been keeping up on TJ, but I think they have changed the looks of them quite a bit, and they look narrower than they used to be.
