Hi guys,

Wondering what your thoughts are on white tractors. In particular the 4-150 and the 2-155. I would like to know if you think they are good or bad and what the Values are.

Thanks,
Mike

The 4-150 4wd has a 3208 V8 Cat in it. Bad news!! You can buy them on auctions here for $5-$8000CAD because of the motor.

Since when is a Cat 3208 bad news. In the 80,000 lb 18 wheel rock bucket business, they were/are revered.

There are folks that are going to disagree with me but...
Reading the literature it looks to me like the 2-155 is basicly a 2-135 with the turbo turned up. Now it may have some other improvements like different gearing and updated cab. Further it looks like White took the Oliver 2150 changed a few things like the sheet metal, the type of front weight, added a cab and maybe changed the gearing and called it 2-135. The guys I have listened to seem to really like them, further in my area the 2-135/2-155's are sought after.
The 2-150 has the huge 5--something Moline engine and I don't hear much.

Clutch to PTO unit 2-135 & 2-155 are the same. 2-155 is 1000 rpm only from factory. You can put dual speed unit from 135 in but have to switch complete units. The only thing the same between 2050/2150 and 2-135/155 is the cubic inches, the motors are both Hercules, but are different models with little interchangability. The rear end, transmission, and hydraulics were completely different. Engine in 2-150 is 585 Cu.in., the rear end of that is the same as Oliver 2255.

Was put the 5.9 cummins engine in his. I was at a farm sale and there was a newly converted nice looking White 2-135 with a nearly new 5.9 and it brought $8000 and was no-saled and a 6000 hour 81 model 1086 that looked like it had been ran hard and put away wet brought $15000!! That pretty well sat the value I thought but there is a good IH dealer close and fair White dealer closer
