I could use a new set of tires for my Oliver 77 but don't really have the $350-$500 for new one in my area. So does any body know where I could find a new set of 12.6X38 for say around $100-$300 or I'm I just wishing for prices from the early 60s???

Try "Tire town" in North East Kansas. I got a pair of factory Blemished tires for my B model Farmall for $100.00 each. Good price but you have to keep after them for shipping. That was a goat rope. Finally got the tires it just took about a month or 6 weeks to get them to Wichita Falls Texas from Kansas.

You need to remember something, along with cheaper prices usually is a cheaper product. Miller Tire most likely operates on volume and that is why they are able to establish the prices they have, but what is the cost of the freight to where ever you live. Can you purchase locally and have them installed for about the same price as tire, freight and then needing to install them? Even if you install them yourself, your time is worth something unless your a farmer, then your time is worth nothing.

henrich; how do you figure my time is worth nothing??? In '98, my worst year ever (low prices and extreme drought), every hour I worked COST me about $22.75; don't know who got the money, but it went somewhere.....

I needed a set for my 39 AC B. Hunted at my local tire place and they really didn't have what I wanted, although they could get the same size rears for about $115 each. Finally found a place in Ohio Miller Tire that had the tread design I wanted. Got them for $135 each and man the pattern fit the tractor. MillerTire.Com. Look them up. I talked to a lady by the name of Kathy. She seemed to me to know her stuff. Hope this helps. Dale
