My cousin has a similar aftermarket unit on a grain truck, and I have a '62 Nova with a factory unit that uses a similar hydraulic piston. One inherent design flaw is there is a very short reaction delay between when you start to turn and when the power starts to help. Both my cousins truck and my Nova have it, I think it's what you get with this type of system. All in all it does the job.

I have never worked on a 930 Hpwever some of the guys could tell yo it there is a way to get hyd power prefabily before the remotes most of what i put it on was IH M (with live pump on cam drive) and DC with DE or combine pump in front of mag drive I have succesuflly taped into molines before the remotes

Chriis; Don't know about the unit that you show , but have put a Jackson power steering unit on my 650 Ford. Not cheap, but nothing is that's good!!Wouldn't be without it, works like a "champ"
