I'm looking for a running 345 IH V8. They were used in the 915&815 combines. I prefer the combine one because it has a govenor. Anybody out there put on in an M farmall Just finished putting one in a 560

THE345 worked well in the 560. as I used one from a combine the 560 clutch will bolt right to the combine flywheel. The combine 345 flywheel is about 1 in bigger in diameter than the 560 flywheel. I turned it down to accept the 560 ringgear. It also requires a spacer between the crank end and the flywheel to line up the clutch and starter.You don't need an adapter plate I just redrilled the rear engine support. worked fine.

I've got a truck with the 392 engine. It's strong and reliable. IH made some tough V8s.

Lots of torque I have been playing with theas for years In scout 4x4 s. A nother good source I have used is I H school buses note 152 196 304 345 392 all use same mounting holes just mix match preashure plate and flywheels

Come to think of it I have a 401 cu. in. International engine that came out of a 73? International Travelall. (Does that sound right?) All because it had a bad rear main seal and the previous owner couldn't find one. Other than that it has a quadra-jet four barrel carburator and has an automatic transmission attached. I'll sell it too. I'm in southern Ohio. PUOnly. Fred OH
